Pregnancy is such an exciting time, but it can also be a time full of unknowns and uncertainty. 'What To Avoid' helps you become clear on exactly what foods and substances are recommended to avoid during your pregnancy.

Includes guidelines on: alcohol, caffeine, herbal supplements & tea, essential oils, foods, guide to mercury levels in fish, medications, physical exercise and more.

Critical nutrients are essential at various stages during your pregnancy to support the health, growth & development of your little one. 'Nutrients & Supplementing For Each Trimester' outlines exactly what nutrients are needed and when. Supplementing is never one-size-fits-all and should always be considered on an as-needed, individual basis. This resource was created to help you discover a personalized protocol that is right for you.

Includes: Food sources for each nutrient, but if you're not confidently consuming enough of a certain nutrient from the food sources listed, supplementation recommendations are given along with the type and dose to meet your unique needs.

Proven and effective remedies to help you find relief and enjoy a much more comfortable pregnancy. Complete protocols to combat all of the most commonly experienced pregnancy conditions.

This two-part recipe book is full of delicious nutrient dense recipes created specifically to support your pregnancy from conception through to labor.

Part Two: Cravings can be a common part of pregnancy. Enjoy healthy versions of all the classic comfort food cravings, like chips, cookies, cupcakes, ice cream, french fries and more, knowing that they're nutritious and beneficial for both you and your little one.

Labor is very aptly named because it is a physical task that requires both strength and stamina. Being properly nourished and hydrated can prevent you from becoming exhausted, which can prolong labor and lead to fewer contractions that are less effective. Eating and drinking during labor, especially in the early stages, can provide you with necessary energy and help you remain more comfortable.

Includes a variety of the best foods to consume during each stage of labor, and which foods to avoid.

“I believe in foods that are naturally grown, raised and prepared, in the same ways that ancestral cultures did to maximize nutrient density. By combining the wisdom of traditional cultures with the findings of modern science, I can help you understand what your body truly needs. I will provide you with the valuable knowledge necessary to instill healthy habits that will last a lifetime.

My fascination with the effect that nutrition has on our health and functioning began early on in my life. After years of my own trial and error, research and reading, I sought a formal education in Holistic Nutrition. This led me to obtain my professional qualifications at the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition through the Registered Holistic Nutritionist Program in 2007. After schooling, I acquired valuable experience through a variety of positions in the field of health and wellness, including opening and operating Kayoosh Health Retreat. I then focused my studies on naturally nourishing women's health and reproduction. The pregnancy and birth of my son in 2014 solidified my devotion to helping other women thrive during their childbearing years. I remain dedicated to deepening my knowledge through further education and training on a regular basis. I have studied under Gloria Lemay and was recently accepted into an apprenticeship program with the Childbearing Society to become a Natural Childbirth Educator. I feel extremely fulfilled to be able to do what I love and share my passion with women”
